"Hecate" goes to work for the North Central Habitat for Humanity, in Hudson, MA

This house is in its very early building stages and the family has already been chosen to occupy it, when completed. DirtyGirl is donating containers and hauling. A goal of 80% recycling has been set for all debris coming from the site. Visit their website by clicking here.

 

Habitat for Humanity and DIRTYGirl disposal, Inc have forged a business relationship and Norma Jeanne goes to work!

On November 11, DirtyGirl delivered a 15 yard roll-off container as an “in kind” donation for the Affordable Millbury Project at 41 MacArthur Drive. In addition to free rental and hauling of the container, DirtyGirl was able to secure free disposal for the waste generated from this project.

 

Wheelabrator Millbury and Interstate Waste Services of Oxford have agreed to accept the waste product generated for the Millbury project. In addition, cardboard and other recyclable materials will be separated and taken to another facility for processing.

 

According to Dan Hassett, of the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, this is the first time that Habitat for Humanity has been the recipient of a donation for 100% of the waste services for their local projects.

 

DirtyGirl is working to reduce H1N1

DirtyGirl is working to reduce H1N1 Flu and other cold viruses during this winter season by distributing bottles of hand sanitizer at selected malls and business functions. Watch for the next distribution date.
